Simply Torn [Art + Design] provides custom wedding stationery that sets the stage for one of the most memorable days of any couples’ life. With a meticulous eye for detail and a knack for translating a couples’ ideas into beautiful design, Christa, owner and designer, makes the entire process easy.

Unlike many stationery vendors who present templated designs and fill in the details, Christa takes the time to sit down with each and every couple to understand their story, their aesthetic, and their vision. Just how every wedding is unique, there are endless possibilities to make each  stationery element special—from ribbon to wax seals to letterpress printing.

All of these options are distilled into cohesive designs for save-the-dates, wedding invitation suites, day-of materials, and thank-you cards.

scheduling a consultation

Scheduling your consultation a year out from your wedding will ensure that we have enough time for each step of the process. During your consultation, we will talk through all of your requested items, including save-the-dates, wedding invitations, and day-of stationery. 

Rush Orders - If a consultation is booked less than 5 months out from your wedding, your order will be subject to an additional 25% fee. As we are not always able to accommodate rush orders, please reach out as soon as possible, to check availability. 

mailing your stationery

Different elements if your stationery need to be mailed to invited guests at different times prior to your event. Sending your stationery after these dates runs the risk of potential guests being unable to attend. 

• Save-the-Dates – 6-9 months 

• Wedding Suites – 2 months 

• Rehearsal Dinner Invitations – 1 month

• Shower Invitations – 1 month 

Day-of materials—programs, table numbers, menus, etc.—are not sent to guests and can be picked up days prior to your event. 

after your event

If you are interested in using a professional photo from your wedding on your thank-you cards, we can discuss the design after the event. However, if you are not interested in including a photo, your thank-you cards can be designed ahead of time.
